Shanghai, China – July 23, 2010:  Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (Electrical and Electronic Products Division) is pleased to announce that its photovoltaic laboratory in China has been accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and the Certification Body Testing Laboratory (CBTL).  These accreditations extend Bureau Veritas’ capacities for performing testing to many standards such as IEC/EN 61215, GB/T 9535, IEC/EN 61646, IEC/EN 61730-1, IEC/EN 61730-2, GB/T 20047.2, and UL 1703.  In addition, the accreditations of CNAS and CBTL allow us to provide various certification marks to photovoltaic clients and perform the related testing in our Shanghai laboratory.

With an area of 1500m², the photovoltaic laboratory at Bureau Veritas has advanced equipment and capabilities that will allow us to offer even more competitive service packages to meet the needs of photovoltaic companies.
